Mariyah Monia, Staff Writer
Mariyah Monia is a straight-A, honor-roll student who is only a freshman at University City High School. Her life revolves around her academics, sports, and family. In 2024, she went to regionals for her Track and Field events, the 200-meter and the 4×1 relay, with her teammates. Mariyah also enjoys cheering and is a member of the varsity cheer team at school. Her writing skills have excelled since being in Journalism 1–2.
