10. The Substance – With the amount of drug abuse in today’s society, a movie covering such a sensitive topic is much needed. Coming out on September 20, The Substance takes on the enthralling story of a new type of drug. This film will no doubt have the audience sitting on the edge of their seats. This movie explores the idea that with just one injection, your DNA will release the enhanced version of yourself that you could have never imagined.
9. Gladiator Two – After his home was taken over, Lucius, played by Paul Mescal is forced to enter the colosseum and look into his past. Part two of the Best Picture winning movie Gladiator releases November 22. The long awaited journey to return back to Rome is just around the corner.
8. Venom: The Last Dance – Created by Marvel Comics, Venom: The Last Dance will premier October 25. As the movie franchise of Venom and Eddie comes to an end, the two are on the run from their homeworlds, as they are pursued by a mysterious man while making the most important decision of their lives.
7. Salem’s Lot – What’s better than an iconic vampire movie for the upcoming Halloween season? Coming this October, the movie features author Ben Mears, played by Rob Lowe, who returns to his hometown of Jerusalem Lot where he discovers his old neighbors are turning into blood thirsty vampires.
6. Smile Two – This psychological horror film comes out just in time for Halloween, on October 18 of this year. Part two of the famous movie Smile, features a pop star, Skye Riley, played by the actress Naomi Scott. She undergoes terrifying and inexplicable events while on her horrific journey of facing her past.
5. Transformers One – This picture zooms in on the iconic Transformers movies, removing the humanistic aspect and diving deeper into the life of Optimus Prime and his brothers. Coming to theaters on September 20, Transformers One reveals the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron who changed the fate of Cybertron forever.
4. Terrifier Three – Just in time for spooky season, another addition to the series that will terrify you, Terrifier Three will be released on October 11. This action-filled horror movie will have you on the edge of your seats as Sienna, played by actress Lauren LaVera, and her brother struggle to rebuild their shattered lives after surviving Art the Clown’s massacre.
