Alexandria Patchett is a returning journalism student from her early high school years who joined staff her senior year. Patchett has loved reading her entire life and her steady devouring of novels has led her to a passion to write as well as read other's words. She is very passionate about classic literature; she has quite the collection of Hemingway, Fitzgerald's, and even some of Sylvia Plath's work. She loves articles that give her a chance to experiment in her writing style and she has spiced up features with her creative black Friday shopping accounts and put her spin on opinions as her two favorite types of articles.  Her writing for The Commander has led her to plans of pursuing writing professionally come college time. She is deferring a year to gain European citizenship and do some serious traveling before applying for schools in the UK after her gap year. Patchett plans on spending the majority of her career in London since that is the ideal place for a Fashion Journalism Major to locate.
