Allen Siegler, Opinions Editor
Junior Allen Siegler is not afraid to give his opinion. Throughout his three years on The Commander staff, he has written many controversial articles on subjects ranging from local school and community problems to nationally debated issues. Although his opinions support one clear side of the argument, he always tries to be as objective as possible when gathering information. Siegler’s dream for this year as Opinion’s Editor is to write a piece that ultimately changes the school or UC community for the better. After all, the pen is indeed mightier than the sword. When not upsetting people with opposing views, Siegler enjoys running long distance track and cross country, listening to classic rock and indie music, and surfing at the Scripps pier in La Jolla.
